Lily Collins and Charlie McDowell share photos with newborn daughter
Lily Collins and Charlie McDowell flaunted some adorable family-of-three moments with daughter Tove Jane McDowell in loving mom and dad mode Instagram photos. Collins and her husband MCDowell welcomed their baby girl less than a week ago via surrogate and clearly cannot get enough of her cuteness in new social media posts.
The duo previously broke the news about becoming parents of a lovely daughter as a surprise with the sweetest portrait and caption on January 31. Now, they are sharing their parenting journey online.
On Thursday, the star posted a heart-melting photo of her in “mom mode” as she could not keep her eyes away from Tove. In the still, she held her baby girl, wearing a flowery knitted cap wrapped in a blankie, in a cradle hold as she looked down at her affectionately. She also had the widest smile and brightest look on her face.
Meanwhile, McDowell shared an almost similar Instagram photo with only a couple of distinctions. He appeared to be sitting on a couch while coddling the infant in his lap and playing with her tiny hands with the caption, “Dad mode.”
Before that, Lily Collins and Charlie McDowell shared the first photo of their daughter, Tove, in a joint Instagram photo and called her “the center of our world.” In the sweet caption, the couple noted how “words will never express our endless gratitude to our incredible surrogate.” In addition, they thanked others who “helped us along the way” and left a sweet message for their girl, “We love you to the moon and back again.”
