Lose weight while eating McDonald’s with fat loss guru’s ‘cheat codes’


A fat loss coach has revealed how to indulge in McDonald’s without derailing your diet.

Known as @coaching_in_hd on Instagram, Hawys D regularly imparts her weight loss wisdom with her 51,000 followers. And her latest advice on making healthier choices at the fast-food chain has been a hit.

In a recent reel, she begins by holding a McDonald’s bag, advising: “If you’re trying to lose weight, then this is exactly what you’re going to order from Maccies.” She adds: “All in, it’s 600 calories and nearly 50 grams of protein.”

Acknowledging that McDonald’s may not be the go-to for weight loss, she notes: “Now McDonald’s isn’t the best weight loss food, but if you’re in a pickle, knowing what to order can help you stay on track and make fat loss more sensible.”

Hawys opts for a grilled Sweet Chilli Chicken wrap at 340 calories with 29 grams of protein, and adds a side salad for fibre, and chooses a zero-calorie fizzy drink.

Instead of small fries, she selects six chicken nuggets, which offer 15 grams of protein for the same calorie count, helping her feel fuller for longer. 

Her “fat loss cheat codes”, as she brands them, have resonated with fans, earning the post hundreds of likes. One individual raved: “I love realistic hacks like this, would love to see more content helping keep on track when eating out.” Hawys responded with enthusiasm, saying: “Your wish is my command.”

Another exclaimed in frustration: “Our McDonald’s here in Canada stopped serving side salads and I hate it,” prompting Hawys to sympathise: “That’s ridiculous.”
