Season 3 of Ted Lasso brought many long-running plot threads to a close. Ted (Jason Sudeikes) finally went home to be with his son. Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) learned to move on from her ex-husband. And, AFC Richmond came within inches of winning the Premier League. But, not everyone got a fairy tale happy ending. As well as starting her own PR business, Keeley Jones (Juno Temple) found herself in the middle of a love triangle with pro-footballers Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) and Jamie Tartt (Phil Dunster).
Season 3’s finale left the love triangle unresolved, as Jamie and Roy stupidly fought over Keeley’s hand before asking her to choose between them — with her kicking them both out as a result. Who Keeley ends up with is one of the burning questions in the series, and Juno Temple believes she knows the answer. “I think, ultimately, she ends up with Roy,” Temple told Entertainment Weekly. Her answer may come as a surprise to some in the fan base, as Season 3 began setting up a new romantic plot between Roy and his niece’s teacher, Ms. Bowen, with Jamie slowly growing as a person and trying to win back Keeley’s love.
Juno Temple admitted that her answer isn’t definitive, and it is only her opinion. It appears we may have to wait for the upcoming fourth season for a more concrete answer. But, Juno Temple also argued that who they end up with might not be the most important part of their character arcs. While Jamie and Roy both fought for Keeley’s attention, all three of them drastically grew as people. “I think the journey of both of their characters throughout all three seasons is a quiet masterclass in acting,” Temple said, praising her co-stars.
Is ‘Ted Lasso’ Getting Three More Seasons?
To many, Ted Lasso‘s third season felt like the definitive end, with almost all the characters finding some form of closure in their respective story arcs. But, Nick Mohammed (who plays Nate “The Great”) got the entire fan base excited last month when he teased that a fourth season might already be in production. But, Mohammed’s reveal might not be all Ted Lasso has in store, as there could be three new seasons currently in the works.

We can now confidently cross this name off the list.
The bombshell was dropped by Moe Jeudy-Lamour, who plays AFC Richmond’s mask-wearing goalkeeper, Thierry Zoreaux. Communication is one of the most important parts of professional soccer, but someone probably should have told Apple TV+’s marketing team that, as Jeudy-Lamour hadn’t been clued in on his talking points. “All I know is that they’ve signed for, I believe, three more seasons,” the actor said, assuming that was a story fans already knew.
No official release date has been revealed for Ted Lasso‘s upcoming fourth season. In fact, it technically still hasn’t been greenlit by Apple. With both Mohammed and Jeudy-Lamour dropping major news within a few weeks of each other, we’re expecting an official announcement from the streamer within the next few weeks.
