Crystals are the most sought-after currency in Cookie Run: Kingdom, but they are also what you will most often find yourself short on. They can be used in almost every area of the game, but the main purpose you will be using them is pulling cookies and soulstones from the Gacha system to help strengthen your teams. It’s not necessary to use them, and you can progress through the game without them—but you will definitely find it a lot easier if you do.
Since crystals are vital to helping you build a strong team, it’s important to know the best ways to collect them and when and where you should use them. If you use all your crystals at once, you may fall behind in Cookie Run: Kingdom‘s arena when new cookies get released. How can you collect as many crystals as possible and get the most out of them?
Where To Earn Crystals In Bulk
Codes And End-Of-Season Rewards
Playing consistently and keeping up with events in Cookie Run: Kingdom will guarantee you will be able to earn large amounts of crystals at the end of certain “seasons.” Ranking up in the arena will immediately reward you with a small amount of crystals and up to 40,000 at the end of the season. However, this is the reward granted to the top 30 players, so the 30,000 crystals granted from reaching the Grandmaster tier is a more realistic maximum to strive for.

Who is the Best Team Leader In Cookie Run: Kingdom?
Players can select one team leader in their Cookie Run: Kingdom party, but which leader provides the best buffs for your chosen team comp?
You don’t have to put in a lot of effort to receive a lot of crystals. As long as you participate, even if you end the season with zero trophies, you’ll still earn 3,000 crystals, enough to pull from the regular or featured cookie Gacha ten times. You should still try to pick out the best cookies for an arena team in Cookie Run: Kingdom and rank up as much as possible, but if it isn’t your thing, then it’s not necessary to grind in the arena.
The same can be said for other game modes with a global ranking system, such as various event mini-games like Beast Raid, Cookie Alliance, and Guild Battle in CRK. The latter works slightly differently—it depends on the overall ranking of your guild as opposed to how you perform individually, so your rank relies on your guild’s strength and activity. You only get three tickets for guild battle a day, which can stack up to a maximum of nine—so make sure you’re using these whenever you can to support the rest of your guild and yourself.

In general, staying active will usually result in earning lots of free crystals. You can receive frequent event rewards and maintenance compensation in your mailbox, but these expire if left unopened for too long. Occasionally, there will also be some codes available in Cookie Run: Kingdom, which you can redeem for crystals. Codes are only released occasionally, but it’s still a good idea to keep up with them to ensure you’re not missing out on anything since codes are only typically active for a short time.
How To Farm Free Crystals Quickly
You Can Quickly Collect Crystals In World Exploration
World Exploration is one of the best ways to quickly farm small amounts of crystals, and if you have a team that is powerful enough, earning three stars in each level in an episode will earn you 800. Clearing a level with three stars for the first time will also reward you with 100 crystals so you can finish each episode in world exploration with upwards of 3,000 crystals. Though you can only earn crystal rewards from a world exploration stage once, you can also do them in dark mode, and the earlier episodes can be done in master mode.
Completing a level in the Tropical Soda Islands for the first time also rewards 100 crystals.
You also get 300 crystals from the Wizard’s Tower after completing a story, such as a world exploration episode or personal cookie story. If I need a small amount of gems quickly, I’ll usually have a look at which achievements I’m closest to. Most achievements are progression-based, and you may find something easy to do that you haven’t completed yet.
How To Save Up Crystals In Cookie Run: Kingdom
Prioritize Gacha Pulls
Once you reach 3,000 crystals, it’s very tempting to immediately use them in the Gacha system. However, if there is no featured cookie Gacha with a character worth promoting, then you are much better off saving them until the next release, especially if you already have your main cookies maxed out. There are plenty of ways to collect cookie cutters that will give you free Gacha pulls—though if the urge to use your crystals is too strong, I’d recommend dedicating a few ten-pulls worth of crystals as savings in case a particularly useful cookie comes out.

10 Best Support Cookies To Use In Cookie Run: Kingdom
Support cookies are some of the best choices for team composition in Cookie Run: Kingdom due to their versatility -which ones are the most powerful?
Outside the Gacha system,, you can use crystals for many other things, such as refreshing timers and replacing materials you don’t have for crafting or the jelly bear train. Though this is convenient, it stacks up over time, and you may find yourself wasting hundreds of Gacga pulls worth of crystals on things that could otherwise be free if you wait. It may be frustrating to wait out these timers, but prioritizing Gacha pulls to meet powerful cookies or max out your current characters will ultimately be more favorable for your team in Cookie Run: Kingdom.
