Born Again’ Season 2 Cast

Three-time Emmy nominee, Lili Taylor, is set to join Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again for its sophomore season. In the series, streaming on Disney+, the actress is rumored to portray a political rival of Vincent D’Onofrio‘s character, Wilson Frisk. Taylor’s character will be recurring, so fans should expect a drama-filled plot surrounding her and Frisk’s unfriendly political candidate competition. Daredevil: Born Again‘s Season 2 cast is seeing more new faces, including Matthew Lillard (Five Nights at Freddy’s), whose character will also recur on the show. While filming is currently in process in New York, it’s safe to say that fans will be ecstatic about what’s to come.

According to Deadline, Vincent D’Onofrio and Charlie Cox are two actors from the original series that returned for its revival. Other returning cast members include Deborah Ann Woll (who is getting a new look), Elden Henson (whose character is confirmed to be in Season 2), and Jon Bernthal. For season one of Born Again, new cast members are Margarita Levieva, Ayelet Zurer, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki M. James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, Wilson Bethel, and Tony Dalton.

Daredevil: Born Again is a continuation of Daredevil (2015-2018) which premiered on Netflix on August 10, 2015. Based on a Marvel Comics character, it is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock (who is also Daredevil). Murdock, a blind lawyer by day, fights crime during the after hours as a masked vigilante. He uses his heightened senses to defeat criminals in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of New York. While doing so, Daredevil unveils a conspiracy in the criminal world led by Wilson Frisk, a mob boss with too much power. The two clash and turn the city into their own battlefield, and the series lasted for three seasons.

The revival on Disney+ follows the aftermath of their rivalry, beginning several years later after the events in Daredevil. Murdock decides to halt his activities as Daredevil but continues to push for justice with his successful law firm. Meanwhile, Frisk is running for Mayor of New York City. With Lili Taylor’s character’s arrival, his run for office will be challenged. Will she play a politician who wants to help the city? Or is her character simply there to battle Frisk and take over things? Those questions will be answered in the upcoming second season.

Who said slasher films were only for Halloween season? Lili Taylor has a role in the Netflix slasher film Fear Street: Prom Queen. Set to be released on May 23, 2025, the movie is based on R. L. Stine’s “The Prom Queen,” and will follow the ‘IT GIRLS’ of the fictional Shadyside High. The students are getting ready for their 1988 prom and the girls are battling for votes to become Prom Queen. However, an unusual candidate appears in the race, and one by one, the nominees start to vanish. Fear Street: Prom Queen is produced by Chernin Entertainment and Taylor’s character’s name hasn’t been announced yet.
