Carl Radke got his veneers done in 2022. And he’s been living the procedure down ever since because his nay-sayers describe the teeth as too big. Unfortunately, that has included being ridiculed by at least one of his Summer House costars. But the Soft Bar + Cafe founder is confident in his appearance and happy with the decision.
Like most reality TV stars, Carl decided to tweak his appearance after negative commentary from fans. In his case, the Summer House veteran had noticeably discolored teeth. Which made him self-conscious even before appearing on reality TV. And in a recent interview, Carl explained that his decision to get veneers was not just an issue of vanity.

Carl exclusively told page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea that he is “happy with” the results and with his decision.
“Dental stuff is hard. I didn’t get my teeth fixed just because I’m on a reality TV show. The teeth that I was born with had been chipped, had been damaged, and then the roots were resorbing — which means they’re dying,” he explained.
Carl had multiple sports-related injuries that had a lasting effect on the health and appearance of his teeth. Even in his first season, Carl was getting comments on his smile and decided to do something about it.
“At some point early on in ‘Summer House,’ in Season 1, I actually was kind of made fun of for having yellow teeth at the time because those were my natural teeth. That’s how they looked,” he shared.
The Bravolebrity continued, “When you get hit in the face a few times, they naturally can discolor. So being on reality TV, I was kind of given a hard time about having yellow teeth my first season.”
Carl has had multiple dental consultations. And he was advised that veneers were the best option. After getting the work done in 2022, the Summer House star is happy with the decision.
“I’m a lot more confident and comfortable,” he shared.
