Austen Kroll and Madison LeCroy have come a long way with their post-romance friendship. At first, it was marred with conflict and drama. Now, it seems like the two have fallen into a supportive understanding. And now that Madison is pregnant with her husband’s first child, Austen is all the more supportive.
Madison revealed that she and Brett Randle were expecting their first child together earlier this month. And in a gender reveal on February 27, the Southern Charm star shared that the baby is a little girl. Meanwhile, her Southern Charm costars are reacting to all the exciting news. And no one is more supportive within the cast than her ex-boyfriend Austen.
Madison LeCroy joked that Austen Kroll will be the baby’s “guncle”
Madison told E! News that not only Austen, but his girlfriend Audrey Pratt, are very happy for her.
“I hung out with his girlfriend [Audrey Pratt] and him afterward and they were so happy for me,” the Southern Charm star said. “He sent me this long text like, ‘Look at how far we’ve come. Five years ago we’re arguing and now everybody’s growing up and starting families and talking about getting married and already getting married.’”
Madison already has a 12-year-old son named Hudson from a past relationship.
“He made me believe that he’s super happy for me,” Madison continued. “And I believe that, so I’ll take it. I told him he was going to be the guncle. I don’t think he understood what I was saying, but it’s okay. My jokes sometimes don’t land, but we’ll tell him later.”
It’s a nice conclusion to what was a very toxic situation between the former lovers. That Austen can now share kind words is monumental.
As for the rest of the cast, Madison revealed that the female cast especially were “so emotional” upon hearing the news of her pregnancy.
“Everyone is just extremely happy for Brett and I and excited to play aunt and uncle,” she shared. “Because I don’t think any of them are ready to have any children at the moment.”
