Jax Taylor is headed into a rocky season of reality TV when Season 2 of The Valley premieres next month. His divorce from Brittany Cartwright is anything but easy, and there are layers to the drama. Despite it all, they’re both starring in a show together during a time in their life when they seemingly can’t stand one another the most. What could possibly go wrong?
It doesn’t make it any easier that Jax and Brittany aren’t shying away from airing each other’s dirty laundry even before The Valley is on our screens. The Vanderpump Rules alums just can’t help themselves. Now, Jax is apparently walking back a bit, or maybe cowering is a better way to describe it. What a mess.

In case you missed it, Jax graced the cover of Us Weekly recently to spill everything about his divorce, his sobriety, and The Valley Season 2. Of course, Brittany came up more than a few times in the interview.
Apparently, when it comes to his split from Brittany, it hasn’t necessarily been a conscious uncoupling. “Every day is something different. I’m walking on eggshells,” Jax said. After some of the things that have been alleged in the press, maybe that’s for the best.
Regardless, Jax said that he and Brittany are trying to keep their son as the main focus. “I’m trying my best to be amicable,” he added. “I want us to say, the marriage didn’t work, but we’re great parents and have a beautiful son. Nothing else matters.” That’s a good thing to keep in mind ahead of the incoming storm.
The Valley premieres Tuesday, April 15 at 9/8c on Bravo.
