Pokémon TCG’s Journey Together Full Card List Appears Online

The full set list for the Pokémon Trading Card Game‘s latest set, Journey Together, has appeared online. Later this month, the Pokémon TCG will release Journey Together, a new set bringing in Trainer’s Pokémon cards for the first time in many years. Because the set contains cards that not only feature fan-favorite trainers but also their beloved Pokémon, many players are expecting this set to be a monumental smash hit.

With pre-release tournaments starting this weekend, the full set list for Journey Together has appeared online for the first time. PokeBeach has revealed that the set will contain 190 cards, including 31 alternate art cards. Fans over on PokeBeach’s comment sections noted that the set felt like a collector’s dream, with many users commenting about the high art quality of the set. “Pokémon is really trying to bankrupt me this year with [Journey Together], how great Destined Rivals looks and a Pokémon Black and White set,” wrote teperoma, referencing the full release slate for 2025 thus far.

Why Journey Together Is A Collector’s Dream

Set Contains Cards Featuring Fan-Favorite Trainers And Their Pokémon

One major reason this set could end up being so popular is that it contains alternate art cards featuring several fan-favorite trainers. For instance, Iono from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet appears in the set with several of her signature Pokémon. An alternate art version of Iono’s first card still sells for over $60 on secondary markets, so players are expecting several similar price hikes for the next Iono cards as well. Other confirmed trainers for the set include Hop (from Pokémon Sword and Shield), Lillie (from Pokémon Sun and Moon), and N (from Pokémon Black and White and its sequels).

Pokémon TCG Confirms Scarlet & Violet Is Officially Ending In 2025

A new era is coming to the Pokemon Trading Card Game, with Scarlet & Violet ending and Mega Evolution launching later this year.

In total, the new set will contain 31 alternate art cards, including three gold foil cards and six Special Illustration Rare cards. The set contains a surprisingly small number of Secret Rare cards compared to previous sets, although this is likely because the set is made up of cards from one Japanese set instead of two. The next set, Destined Rivals, will be composed of three separate Japanese sets, so it will likely be much larger and contain a lot more Secret Rare cards.

Our Take: Good Luck Finding These Cards

Scalping Remains A Major Issue For The Pokémon Trading Card Game

Iono and Bellibolt Pokemon TCG

The big problem with Journey Together isn’t its small set size or its focus on collectible cards, but rather the major scalping issue pushing the Pokémon Trading Card Game to the brink. Many stores simply don’t have Pokémon card stock, largely because scalpers are raiding them and selling them for exorbitant prices online. Hopefully, the Pokémon TCG is finding ways to address this issue. Otherwise, there won’t be any Journey Together cards for current fans of the franchise looking to collect cards at a reasonable price.
