Radical Faculty Members at Columbia Are Egging On Student Protesters as School Tries to Comply With Trump Demands | The Gateway Pundit

The situation at Columbia University is still completely crazy.

Despite the fact that university leaders gave in to Trump’s demands for reform at the far left school, some radical faculty members are still egging on the student protesters.

These people are going to end up costing Columbia hundreds of millions in federal funding if they don’t knock it off.

Columbia faculty hold ’emergency vigil,’ urge students to wear mask, skip class to protest Trump

A group of people continued marching and circling around the main gate of Columbia University on Monday afternoon, banging loud drums and chanting, “Long live the intifada.”

Their actions come shortly after Columbia University professors held what they called an “emergency vigil” in response to the college’s agreement to implement a host of policy changes, including overhauling its rules for protests and conducting an immediate review of its Middle Eastern studies department following demands from the Trump administration.

The group gathered outside the university’s gates on 116th Street and Amsterdam Avenue, holding signs that read “defend democracy,” “defend teaching” and “Columbia, fight back.”

Though the arrest of prominent anti-Israel activist and legal permanent resident Mahmoud Khalil by federal immigration officials was mentioned, activists used the opportunity to speak about numerous grievances with the school.

These masks are not about Covid, they’re about defying Trump and hiding the faces of the protesters.

We’ve now arrived at a point where certain @Columbia faculty are:
1. Urging students to skip class
2. Promoting masks in defiance of the school’s own resolution agreement
3. Publicly attacking the school’s attempts to restore funding

The faculty members who are encouraging this should be fired. If they’re tenured, they should be placed on leave. The American people are tired of the madness continually unfolding at this supposedly ‘prestigious’ university.
