Fans were shocked when Southern Charm star Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo of Summer House ended their relationship. The split was less amicable than it initially appeared, with Paige deciding to pull the plug. So, what happened to the engagement ring that Craig bought, intending to pop the question?

It seems that Paige was having major doubts about Craig during Season 9 of Summer House. She notably did not want to start a family and was laser-focused on her career. However, Craig wanted a family from the jump.
Plus, while Paige dealt with infidelity allegations, she also claimed that her ex was texting with other women. Of course, Craig denied these accusations, stating, “It was disappointing to see the direction that her and the show went because I’m just grateful for the three years of a relationship that we had. It was really great.”
Recently, Craig was a guest on Watch What Happens Live, along with Austen Kroll and Shep Rose. And he revealed to WWHL host Andy Cohen what happened to the diamond sparkler he planned to give to Paige. Craig stated, “I just returned it this morning.” This admission surprised his fellow Southern Charmers. “Oh, woah!” Shep said. Then, Austen asked, “Why didn’t you tell us?”
Finally, Shep quipped, “Can I borrow a hundred bucks?” Hilarious! In the end, Craig just wanted to move on. “I just don’t need custody of it anymore, so I took it back to the guy,” he explained. Plus, Craig has also moved on with a special lady.
“You know, when I date, I tend to date only one person at a time,” Craig said on WWHL. “So I’ve been seeing someone. I’ve been reminded that the universe works in crazy ways, but everything happens for a reason.”
