Mark Bessette and Mina Mack are one of the new couples on 90 Day Fiancé Season 11. After traveling to Paris for work, Mark stumbled across Mina on a night out and became star-struck. Mark and Mina began seeing each other and it wasn’t long before Mina became pregnant with their daughter Maria. Mina and Maria have finally joined Mark in America, although their family situation is a bit complicated.
While most of Mark’s family is unsure about Mina, his daughter Jordan Bessette is particularly doubtful. Jordan’s main concerns are the large age gap between Mina and her father, as well as the fact that he wants to keep having children. After meeting on a family trip, Jordan and Mina have been engaged in an on-and-off feud. Some viewers have sided with Mina, while others see where Jordan is coming from. So who’s right in this 90 Day Fiancé feud? Here are our thoughts.
Jordan Bessette hasn’t been a fan of Mina Mack from the beginning
Jordan’s problems with Mina began when she first met her new stepmother in Paris for Maria’s baptism. According to Jordan, Mina was four hours late to the party since she took too long to get ready. After the celebrations, Jordan felt as if Mina wasn’t interested in getting to know her. It’s not uncommon to see hesitant family members in the 90 Day Fiancé world but Jordan’s worries about Mina seem excessive.
Once Mina arrived in the US, it wasn’t long before Mark took her to meet Jordan for a second time. Jordan and her boyfriend Gabe Nabers met up with Mark, Mina, and Maria for a beach day, although things quickly went south. Jordan and Mina stepped aside to chat and Jordan didn’t hold back. Mina admitted that she and Mark wanted to have another baby, which made Jordan uncomfortable. Jordan then admitted that she wondered if Mina just wanted to be with Mark for his money, which further infuriated her.
Mina has had her share of problems with Jordan as well
While Jordan initiated the feud with Mina, the latter has also gone out of her way to express her dislike for her fiancé’s daughter. Before arriving in North Carolina for the family trip, Mina wasn’t the most optimistic. After the argument with Jordan, Mina resorted to calling Jordan a snake. While she definitely had a reason to be upset, this word was harsh.
Shortly after calling Jordan a snake, Mina decided to uninvite her from her wedding to Mark. This caused Jordan to walk off, which resulted in Mark becoming upset as well. Jordan and Gabe left the beach early, while Jordan claimed that she didn’t want to be a part of the wedding anyway. So far, this has to be the most dramatic storyline in Season 11!
So who’s right?
While Jordan and Mina have both made mistakes, Mina is ultimately in the right here. Mina hasn’t been perfect but it’s clear that Jordan has been unwilling to put her own feelings aside to work things out with her. Jordan’s biggest problem with Mina is the fact that she wants to have more kids, which isn’t really her business. It’s understandable that Jordan might feel weird having siblings so much younger than her but ultimately that’s no one’s decision besides Mark and Mina’s.
Jordan has also gone out of her way to make Mina uncomfortable in front of others. At the family barbeque, Jordan asked Mark if he was considering a prenup with Mina in front of the entire family. This was inappropriate, as it embarrassed Mina and put her on the spot. Mark even pointed out that it was an awkward time to bring up the topic.
Before the barbeque, Jordan had asked Mina to make amends, which she agreed to. However, after arriving at the event, Jordan once again seemed determined to make a case against Mina. On her part, Mina handled the situation well and didn’t blow up at anyone. While 90 Day Fiancé family members are notorious for being difficult, Jordan has been particularly problematic this season.
