Last week, Real Housewives of New York star Erin Lichy announced that she welcomed her fourth child into the world with Abe Lichy. They named the baby Jack, and RHONY fans showered the happy couple with love. However, that all changed a few days later when she posted a TikTok of herself holding the newborn while making a martini.
She captioned the video, “She’s backkkkkk,” and you know she thought this post was going to numbers. However, fans quickly called her out for what they saw in the video. They weren’t concerned about the martini. Instead, they felt concerned about how Erin was holding her baby.
Erin Lichy caught heat for supposedly failing to support her newborn baby’s neck
In a TikTok video shared on Wednesday, April 2, it looks like Erin has Baby Jack dangling off her arm like a limp noodle. Your neck will start hurting just from watching this video, and plenty of RHONY fans took the time to give her unsolicited parenting advice.
“More concerned about a video than the baby’s head hanging,” wrote one fan.
Another person added, “Oh my god the baby’s head is just dangling whilst she’s making a martini and TikTok. Priorities girl.”
Meanwhile, Erin made it clear that she and Jack were fine. In the TikTok comments, she called the critics “haters.” She responded to one fan by saying, “Looks worse than it is promise lol.”
We’ll take Erin’s word for it that the video makes this look worse. This is her fourth child, so we have to assume she knows what she’s doing at this point. For the sake of Jack’s neck, we certainly hope so.
