Stream on May 1
An action horror film, The Hunt follows a group of 12 strangers who wake up in a clearing with a gag over their mouths and a small cache of guns mysteriously provided to them. With no recollection of how they got there and no understanding as to why they’ve been kidnapped, it doesn’t take long for them to realize they’re in the midst of a deadly game.
It turns out a few ruthless elitists have brought them to a remote location in order to hunt them for sport. Everything unfolds as planned until one of the hunted, Crystal (Betty Gilpin), puts up a substantial fight and begins to turn the tables on those pursuing her. The Hunt is streaming on May 1.

‘Love Hurts’

A mashup of genres, Love Hurts is an action comedy that follows Milwaukee realtor Marvin Gable (Ke Huy Quan). Seemingly innocuous, his secret past turns out to be livelier than anyone could have guessed. After his former partner in crime, Rose (Ariana DeBose), sends him a mysterious red envelope completely out of the blue, it’s clear he can no longer run from the violent life he thought he left behind.
Subsequently pulled back into his brutal past, Marvin will now have to confront his estranged crime-lord brother, Alvin “Knuckles” Gable (Daniel Wu), who is hot on his trail. As he navigates the consequences of his past, he taps into his former talents as a hitman rather quickly. With a cast that includes the likes of Marshawn Lynch, the film is definitely a perfect mix of action and humor. Love Hurts is streaming on May 9.
‘John Wick’ Franchise
Stream on May 15
With a fifth film currently in the works, a television series, and the forthcoming Ballerina set in the same universe, the John Wick franchise has certainly made a lasting impression. Starring Keanu Reeves as the titular character, John Wick follows a former hitman who returns to the torrid lifestyle after he’s robbed, and his beagle puppy is killed. Having just lost his wife, the dog was meant to help him cope.
However, with nothing left to lose, all John wants is revenge, which he handily achieves on more than one occasion. Originally meant to be a standalone movie, its success sparked an immediate sequel. Now all four films will be on Peacock just in time for viewers to watch before catching Ballerina in theaters this summer. John Wick and its sequels are streaming on May 15.
