Khloe Kardashian Dives Deep Into Grief And Healing With Expert David Kessler

Khloe Kardashian has put down yet another heavy but much-needed topic in her platform and tried to go with as much honesty as possible as she interviews grief expert David Kessler about decentring conversations on loss, healing, and ways in which pain is said to reform an individual beyond their expectation. Live on X (formerly Twitter), the episode hits hard for any soul out there who has stood at one time or another in this messy and unpredictable journey. The comments said very much people were needing this one.

With thank yous and personal stories dominating the comments section, well, a few speed bumps (internet style) suddenly appeared. Savannah Marschke-Murrill bluntly declared herself obsessed with the podcast line, “I love this podcast way more than I thought I ever would.” Feelings are mutual and I mean, it is just so real. On the other hand, Jen said, just losing her dad: “My Dad just passed away and it is so difficult to navigate such a huge loss and an unknown.” Oof. Very real. That’s the exact kind of stuff that shows these talks matter.

Then comes firsthand from Ashley Hilton, saying thank you to Khloe for being all pro grief after losing her dad. Hilton defined the episode as open and something that gave her hope in her struggle. Not everyone was too deep-GiGi🧚🏻‍♀️7️⃣1️⃣1️⃣ seized the opportunity to ask, “Is you’re 150 year old Grandma still alive?” And another one-liner: “She has the ultimate bitch face of all time.” That’s pure Twitter for you.

Some rotten eggs came from The Merdragon Series talking about how writing children’s books did help her in her grief after the passing of her daughter and then squished in links to her work. Why not? Cheaminh followed by asking an odd but slightly justified off-topic question: “Off topic but u look spectacular back in brown hair.” Priorities, right?

The show was clearly Nijinski-ing into the hearts of people who are struggling with the grief journey. Nathan Kardashian (not related, presumably) shared about losing his grandpa during this time which eerily seemed just meant to prepare for the upcoming memorial service. And Edward Sanchez just says, “My favorite podcast.” No reason given.

Khloe seems to be leaning toward more of those heavy subjects of late, and the reaction proves how people are clamouring to speak about things that matter. Grief is never a straight line, never pretty, and for sure, no one keeps a schedule on it. Twitter is another case-just that one person comparing grief to a doorknob (“You have to deal with it to open doors”). Deep? Odd? Both?

Going for all sorts of layered emotional wisdom, and maybe for the odd curve of comment-the episode has it all. And if there is one thing this proves is that somewhere between internet nonsense, there remain glimmers of real conversations: a dialogue between a reality star and a grief expert, one that pop singer Max seemingly didn’t see coming.
