Here’s what you missed on Glee: Lea Michele and Dianna Agron had a mini cast reunion to support Darren Criss amid his Broadway stint in the musical Maybe Happy Ending, with both actresses sharing adorable pictures and gushing about the experience on Instagram afterward.
After catching one of the former Warbler’s performances at Bellasco Theater in New York City, the Funny Girl actress shared a snap on Instagram of herself with Criss and the Shiva Baby star leaning in on either side. “Night out with my beautiful friend from high school to see our former classmate perform on Broadway,” Michele joked in her caption, referencing how the trio used to play students at the fictional William McKinley High School on Glee.
“LOVED EVERY MINUTE,” Agron commented on Michele’s post, which also featured a selfie the threesome snapped on stage.
Agron also shared a sweet picture on Instagram of her smiling former costars, as well as videos of Criss seemingly giving them a tour backstage. “WMHS FOREVER,” she wrote. “Completely & utterly heartwarming all around – another huge round of applause for you, Darren.”
It’s been a full decade since Glee wrapped after six seasons of the musical dramedy series, during which Michele, Criss, Agron and their castmates collectively notched 207 entries on the Billboard Hot 100 — more than any other artist aside from Drake, Taylor Swift and Future. By visiting Criss at Maybe Happy Ending, Michele returned the favor of the singer-actor coming to watch her in Funny Girl on Broadway in 2022.
“The amount of times this guy has heard me sing Don’t Rain On My Parade,” she wrote on Instagram at the time, sharing a photo of herself, Criss and his wife, filmmaker Mia Swier, backstage. “I love you.”
