Are love reality TV shows actually for love or are they for money and fame? One would argue the latter considering how many contestants go on specifically to further their careers. Love Island’s Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu is the latest on this list. She was allegedly in a secret relationship with Georges Berthonneau from Married at First Sight UK while on Love: Island All Stars.
The tea came straight from Georges who said that he and Ekin-Su were in love but she insisted on going on All Stars to further her career. According to Georges, they agreed that Ekin-Su would go no further than kissing during her time on the dating show.

Georges confirmed the relationship to The Daily Mail for the first time. He claims Ekin-Su betrayed him for everyone to see when she became Curtis Pritchard’s girlfriend.
The MAFS alum said he and Ekin-Su planned a future together, had pet names, spent time with his family, holidayed together in France, and even spent Boxing Day together. This was just 18 days before she entered the All Stars villa.
According to Georges, she even messaged him, “I love you, my Bear” before going into the villa. Bear was her nickname for him. He said they had a very intense and very intimate relationship.
Which is why it was such a nightmare for him to see her on the show passionately kissing and eventually getting into a “relationship” with Curtis Pritchard. He detailed the agony of watching Ekin-Su going off on the Heart Rate Challenge in her full-on red devil lingerie and straddling, grinding, and kissing several of the men.
Once All Stars was over, Georges ended their romance saying “I can’t be with someone who has another boyfriend. He felt the former Traitors star gaslighted him and even told him not to date while she went on the show and that they would stay together.
“I got played. She gaslit me,” he said. “I just feel so used. The devil on her shoulder is always money, money, money, brand deals. That’s all she cares about.”
And it looks like it paid off, there are rumors Ekin-Su, who recently took a swing at Megan Markle, may end up on Real Housewives of London.
A representative of Ekin-Su’s told Daily Mail that she was always upfront with Georges about everything and she was always looking for someone new on Love Island: All Stars. The friend said Ekin-Su was even active on dating apps.
Meanwhile, Georges is so heartbroken he’s signed up for therapy to deal with the trauma.
