Netflix Revealing ‘One Piece’ & ‘Stranger Things’ News at Tudum Live Event

Netflix’s One Piece Season 2 and the final season of Stranger Things just got an exciting update that will please fans of the popular franchises. While many still await an official release date for both shows, Netflix just revealed when subscribers will be able to learn more about the upcoming seasons. Despite being left off the official 2025 slate trailer, expect some breaking news next month when Netflix rolls out its annual live event.

On Monday, Netflix announced the 2025 edition of the TUDUM live event, which showcases the upcoming movies and television shows on the streaming platform. A new trailer for the occasion confirmed that subscribers will learn about the new seasons of One Piece and Stranger Things, two of the most anticipated projects from the company that are expected to be released later this year, but have no confirmed premiere dates. One Piece and Stranger Things will join a crop of other Netflix television titles during TUDUM, including Bridgerton, Emily in Paris, Love is Blind, Nobody Wants This, Outer Banks, Wednesday, and Squid Game. Of course, considering One Piece Season 2 has been one of the most secretive and ambitious projects to date, the event should give fans even more exciting announcements after revealing a sneak peek at the production during Geeked Week last year. Meanwhile, the final season of Stranger Things is widely expected to get a premiere date update after being confirmed for a 2025 release window. On the movie side of things, the titles expected to be previewed are The RIP, Wake Up Dead Man: a Knives Out Story, Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein, and Happy Gilmore 2.
