Ryan Reynolds has just made a cryptic tweet about Wrexham AFC and United which is going totally viral all over the world. The Hollywood star tweeted something vague in nature, known for his witty antics and fun Deadpool action: “Some people plan to travel. Some people emotionally hedge. @Wrexham_AFC x @United.”

The tweet, linked to an undisclosed project, erupted with comments from praises to ridicule, starting from all ends of the spectrum.
One user, FlavioMCSousa, didn’t mince his words in convicting Reynolds as a “bully extortionist” while also taking shots at Wrexham AFC and United’s supposed lack of ethics. Ouch. Another, Jack Penn just referred to him as “disappointment.” Harsh, but not surprising in the mad land of Twitter.
But it wasn’t all negative. Neto San Roman defended Reynolds, calling him a “great human” and an inspiration for many around. L. Graves appreciated the “effective, vivid promos,” which “wouldn’t cost much to make.”
Well, with the internet being the internet, it didn’t take long before things got crazy. One user bizarrely called for Reynolds to “admit you’re gay,” while another bashed him for “canceling with cause.”..And also the random references to Tropical Thunder as “new jokes.” Wait, what?
Among all the mess fell one heartbreaking message: a young endo yamato, who claimed that they were fighting autism and maybe cancer, implored Reynolds for a birthday shout-out: “Nobody talks to me, and everybody hates me,” they wrote. Gut-wrenching.
While the criticism raged and a few heart-wrenching messages poured in, Reynolds has opted for silence. One thing is for sure, good or bad, Ryan Reynolds surely knows how to get people talking.
Anyway, it now looks like it’s sponsorship-related, oh, or maybe a docuseries? Or just plain trolling by Ryan? Only time will tell what this whole convo about Wrexham AFC and United collab is really all about.
