The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, an upcoming prequel film revolving around Haymitch Abernathy, continues to round out its star-studded cast with one of the most exciting additions yet. Plutarch Heavensbee, previously portrayed by the late great Philip Seymour Hoffman, will be appearing in the new adaptation based on the best-selling book from franchise author Suzanne Collins.
According to Deadline, Jesse Plemons (Civil War, Breaking Bad) has joined Sunrise on the Reaping as Plutarch Heavensbee, the future leader of the rebellion. After being rumored to play the villain in Shawn Levy’s Star Wars movie, Plemons finds his next big franchise role in the upcoming Hunger Games prequel.
