Social media went suddenly awry when 50 Cent announced his coming show in Poland. It was an explosive announcement of his August 10th date at PGE Narodowy in Warsaw-the show already being glorious beyond words by the netizens.

The tweet said pretty much-well, 50 Cent with a fire emoji celebrating the Poland tour and a link to buy tickets. And then came the replies! These replies set the mood; a few were hyped, some confused, and others in another world. Let’s look at them in detail.
First is the love from Poland: a Twitter user, Dominika, simply wrote, “See you at the Narodowy on August 10th” with some ticket emojis to punctuate the comment. Then there’s Prime, who wrote, “People of Polish descent love you.” Oh well, that is a nice one. Then, for the bad: “Nobody opposed and wants to listen to those ancient songs,” came one reply from a user going by the name BitchBetaHaveMy$. Ouch. Sore was some of that crude wordsmithry, reminding them of what — so-called — hip-hop represented in the early 2000s.
Then one gets to the off-the-walls: “Let us always remember WW2 only started because the USSR and Germany both agreed to invade Poland.” Uh…okay? Not quite sure how that connects to the 50 Cent concert, but hey, history buffs gotta history buff. Here’s one for you: The bird. That’s right. Salty Chewbacca (yes, that really is his handle) said that his bird is a huge 50 Cent fan, dancing and singing along to “Many Men.” Meanwhile, he joked about copyright infringement since the bird keeps repeating “many men,” and at some point even said, “yummy.” We have questions. So many questions.
Outrageous reaction would not have been far from the scene: Someone warned him to “be careful Roc Nation don’t try to get you arrested for your comments on the Diddy case,” since apparently the rapping world’s beef never sleeps. Another diss Rick Ross, laughing that he would come “cleaning bathrooms & working closely with Polish law enforcement.” Pretty harsh, but hilarious.
Holding on to a high five from 2009, a tad long! MarkoM1906 hit up 50 Cent with, “Remember how we high-fived at Coke Live Music Festival in Kraków in 2009? My friend doesn’t believe me and I need proof.” Bruh, that was 15 years ago. Let it go.
But the best part? The sheer randomness. One person asked if he’s “going to be selling in the club,” another demanded to know when he’s coming to Nairobi, and someone else just said, “Oh honey I want to come!” in the most unexpected wholesome way.

Allowing 50 Cent the power of one tweet and a raucous bedlam, uncontested. Perchance, you either love him, hate him, or simply enjoy the spectacle, but one thing is clear-the concert in Poland will be spoken of long after the lights are dimmed. And with his past performances, this will probably be one for the books.
