Clint Eastwood is a man that will seemingly never retire. As he approaches his 95th birthday, it looks like the rumors Juror #2 was to be the legendary filmmaker’s final movie were a little premature, as he has revealed he is now once again working on his next picture.
For many people, the idea of still working when they are in their 90s is the worst possible scenario. For Eastwood, though, it seems like the thought of taking it easy and putting his feet up is one that he is definitely not considering. Speaking with Kurier, Eastwood said of his future:
“There’s no reason why a man can’t get better with age. And I have a lot more experience today; I’ve had a long life behind me that has given me all these experiences. Of course, there are directors who lose their touch at a certain age, but I’m not one of them.”

What is possibly even more significant about Eastwood’s plans, which are not quite as surprising as it seems considering he never actually said last year’s movie was his last, is that he appears to be developing this new movie for Warner Bros. despite the numerous reports that the studio attempted to bury Juror #2 by releasing it in a ridiculously small number of theaters.
For those who consider Eastwood one of the last great icons of a bygone Hollywood era, there could be no better news than to know that he has not decided to mosey on off into the sunset just yet.
