The divorce between Drew Sidora and Ralph Pittman might just be the messiest one in Real Housewives of Atlanta history. You thought they hit rock bottom in Season 15 when she came out onto the reunion stage and sang a breakup song at him. Unfortunately, things have gotten worse and worse.
In RHOA Season 16, the cameras have followed the couple to the courthouse as they battle it out over their breakup. She said it felt like they were “at war.” Meanwhile, the court ordered Ralph to live in their basement. The whole thing is a mess, and Drew recently shared that it’s left her having major trust issues.
Drew Sidora wonders “how can I trust anybody” amid Ralph Pittman divorce
RHOA Season 16 Episode 11 showed Drew hitting another low point in her divorce. She learned that Ralph was trying to get her lawyer removed from the case while also trying to argue for a major stake in her business entities.
Drew and Ralph’s relationship moved quickly in the first place. They tied the knot just six months after meeting. Ten years later, Drew explained during the RHOA After Show that their “nightmare” divorce has her questioning everything.
She said, “I mean, I just feel like when you get to know someone for 10 years, it’s like, if I can’t trust the man that … was my best friend, how can I trust anybody?”
On the After Show, Drew was joined by Cynthia Bailey, who, of course, has had her fair share of divorces. Speaking from experience, she had some words of support for Drew. She encouraged her to take some time for herself before throwing herself back into the dating world.
“For you, I will say take your time, but be open,” Cynthia advised. “Don’t close yourself down because you never know what God has for you.”
According to Drew, she’s been pouring herself into her career instead of trying to find a new partner. She has a few upcoming movies. Plus, she just dropped the album she recorded with Porsha Williams’ ex, Dennis McKinley. Finding love again isn’t on her list of priorities, especially because she’s looking at everyone with a “side-eye.”
Drew added, “I just don’t feel like I’m in the healthiest of places to even date someone, you know what I mean? Like, until I let go of this, I’m not really all 100 percent available to want to go down that road with someone. Like, [you’re] gonna have a lot to prove.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta continues every Sunday at 8/7c on Bravo and on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
