For those who love horror flicks, Shudder has always been the ultimate platform to satisfy all their streaming needs. With a treasure trove of subgenres that casual viewers didn’t even know existed, they never fail to have a wide variety of frightening movies for everyone to enjoy. While some might be a bit too gruesome for certain audiences, there remain plenty of others that won’t make stomachs turn.

After Val (Kevin Bacon) and Earl (Fred Ward) come across a series of perplexing deaths, they encounter a graduate student, Rhonda (Finn Carter), who has been studying unnatural seismograph readings in the area. They quickly learn that giant, prehistoric, worm-like monsters are the cause of such anomalies and enlist the help of eccentric survivalists Burt (Michael Gross) and Heather (Reba McEntire). As they fight for their lives, they’ll do everything they can to defeat the creatures hellbent on devouring human flesh. Tremors is streaming on May 1.
‘The Ugly Stepsister’

A body horror, The Ugly Stepsister is a morbid and sinister take on the classic tale of Cinderella and her glass slipper. Set at a Victorian estate in Sweden, the film follows Elvira (Lea Myren), who is determined to earn the admiration and affection of the prince no matter what the cost. As she competes against her beautiful and enchanting stepsister, Agnes (Thea Sofie Loch Næss), Elvira resorts to some rather extreme measures to come out on top. In a kingdom where beauty reigns supreme, nothing is off limits. As such, this movie isn’t for those with a queasy stomach. The Ugly Stepsister is streaming on May 9.
