I can understand why Joey and Kelsey wanted to take their time. After all, they were strangers until just a few short weeks before Joey slipped a ring on Kelsey’s finger during The Bachelor season 28 final rose ceremony. Though I understand their caution, they moved in together right away after they got engaged, so they’re completely committed to the relationship. Since they’re practically already married, I don’t see why they don’t just make it official.

During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, Joey and Kelsey revealed they’d like to tie the knot during summer 2027. The Bachelor season 28 stars confessed they wanted to do it in 2026, but felt overwhelmed by how soon that was. “We really don’t want to be stressed,” Kelsey said.

If Joey and Kelsey get married in summer 2027, that means they will have been engaged for four years. Call me old-fashioned, but I think that’s too long an engagement.
