JUST IN: US Attorney Alina Habba Announces Federal Investigation Into New Jersey Democrats Who Violently Attacked ICE Agents | The Gateway Pundit

Alina Habba, the US Attorney for the District of New Jersey, announced her office has launched a federal investigation into the violent altercation between Congressional Democrats and ICE agents at the Delaney Hall detention center in Newark on Friday.

“My office is undertaking a thorough investigation in coordination with our Federal Agency partners of what transpired on Friday at Delaney Hall. As is true of every investigation this office handles, all available evidence will be thoroughly reviewed prior to making a determination on how to proceed. I do not take these matters lightly,” Alina Habba said on Monday

ICE bodycam footage showed Democrat Rep. LaMonica McIver verbally abusing and physically assaulting federal agents at a detention facility in Newark.

A Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman on Saturday said that members of Congress bodyslammed a female ICE agent.

Tricia McLaughlin, Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs, appeared on CNN to discuss the violent confrontation between New Jersey Democrats and ICE Agents at the Delaney Hall detention facility.

“There will likely be more arrests coming. We have bodycam footage of some of these members of Congress assaulting our ICE enforcement officers, including bodyslamming a female ICE officer. We will be showing that to viewers very shortly,” Tricia McLaughlin told CNN.

“If you have that video, are you suggesting members of Congress will be arrested?” CNN asked the DHS spox.

“That is definitely on the table,” Tricia McLaughlin said.
