Kid Rock Teases Rock N Rodeo Event And Fans Go Wild With Bull Naming Suggestions

Wild-looking Kid Rock is bringing the dirt, the dust, and the chaos to Fox Nation this Rock N Rodeo. The country-rock legend gave a little tease on Instagram, announcing a livestream airing on Friday, May 16, at 7 PM CT / 8 PM ET, in collaboration with Professional Bull Riders (PBR). But of course, in true Kid Rock style, he asked his fans to help him name some bulls for the event. There was no pausing through that.

Much like his full cowboy-mode personality, the post was so simple: Kid Rock looked somewhat through and through like a bull rider and somewhat like a honky-tonk bar star. The real fun, however, was the torrent of weird, patriotic, and occasionally absolutely cracked-up suggestions that filled the reply box.

The true patriots did, however, rise with some gusto: “Trump Daddy & Merica,” “Freedom & Rocky,” and “Lady Liberty & King Freedom” trended in the comments again, just to prove that this really A-murican reference is beloved by Kid Rock’s fan base. There is even one for naming bulls: “Maga” and “Detroit,” which does kind of work.

Then came the tribute. Some gave their respects to the late Joe C., Kid Rock’s long-time member and pal, suggesting names such as “Joe C. (In loving memory)” and “Bullcephus” (which is sort of a play on Kid Rock’s real name, Bob Ritchie, and his stage persona). Others just went a full-on nostalgia circuit: “Bud & Sissy” from Urban Cowboy, or “Lynyrd & Skynyrd” for the classic rock crowd.

Still with me because the crazy has to continue. Fani Willis and Chuck Schumer was proposed by one… which is a choice. Then another one came along with Sheryl Cow (yes, just like Sheryl Crow but with associations limited to bovines). Then there was the guy who said, “I’ll stand in line for the petting zoo,” which got a big thumbs up.

Anyways, the madness that Kid Rock-loving community always injects into his comment section. One said “Boss Hog and Daisy Duke,” and another made a Tennessee pride proclamation with “Soddy Daisy, Cash, Bull God, and Nash.” Oh, and let’s not forget who gave that horse-naming list of random words like “Badass,” “Hollywood,” and “Vine.”

The public has not seen any official declaration yet from Kid Rock concerning whether he ever picked any of these names (if he ever did). But judging from what we have seen from Kid, there is a real good chance he went for the whackiest suggestion there is. This is the guy who rocked a Confederate flag poncho—so subtle is not how he rolls.

With a fine mix of bull-riding action and rowdy showmanship of Kid Rock, Rock N Rodeo promises some crazy moments. All the madness gets one wondering if those ridiculously hilarious bull names will be used on-air after all. Be that as it may, this is going to be a spectacle.

Where to Now: Don that cowboy hat, pour that stiff one, and get ready for a smashing full throttle Kid Rock night. Maybe one will get named “Sharp Dressed Man.” Yeehaw!
