On May 1, Lisa Vanderpump visited Andy Cohen in the Watch What Happens Live clubhouse. Of course, the first topic of conversation was her former SUR bartender’s recent confession about his cocaine addiction.
Right off the bat, Andy wanted to know Lisa’s “reaction to Jax Taylor opening up about his addiction.”
“Oh, gosh,” she responded. “It’s very upsetting, the whole thing.”

“Obviously, being so supportive of them together as a couple … I just hope he takes it seriously,” the restaurateur continued. “Cause it’s not just about going to rehab, is it? It’s about the work that you’ve got to do afterwards. He’s got to distance himself from anybody that’s doing that. He’s really got to take it seriously.”
Andy shifted the discussion to Jax’s estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, who filed for divorce in August 2024. The couple had been married nearly five years before she finally found the courage to leave him in February 2024. They share one son, Cruz Cauchi (Cauchi is Jax’s legal last name).
“Brittany sure seems to have found her voice and her strength this season on The Valley,” Andy commented.
“Finally!” Lisa interjected.
“What’s your reaction to that?” the Housewives executive producer asked.
“I think we all want to see that,” the Vanderpump Villa star replied. “When you see a woman that’s not standing up to a man and [not] having equality in a partnership, that’s very disheartening for me. So, absolutely. Good for her!”
Earlier this week, Britt had her own WWHL sit-down with Andy. She didn’t hold anything back, coming clean with her suspicions about Jax’s past cheating. The Kentucky native added that Jax was just “mean” in the way he treated just about everyone.
“Red flag if you’re mean to somebody who works at McDonald’s,” she laughed. “Come on, [I] should have seen it from Day 1.”
The Valley airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo and Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
