Prison Break was a popular crime drama series on Fox from 2005 to 2017. Starring Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell as brothers Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows, respectively, the show tells the story of these two desperate men as they end up in and try to escape Fox River State Penitentiary. Viewers watched as Lincoln and Michael fight to put off Lincoln’s execution, solve the conspiracy that put Lincoln on death row in the first place, and execute the perfect escape plan all within the first season.
From the pilot episode, viewers were hooked by the intriguing plot and the incredible performances of Miller and Purcell. Those who didn’t stick with the show, and the brothers’ story, for all 12 years might be left wondering what became of Lincoln Burrows and Michael Scofield in the end.
Where Michael and Lincoln End Up
Seven years after the series left off within the show’s universe and from his faked death, Michael is now working for Jacob Ness, AKA Poseidon, to break Abu Ramal out of Ogygia. His personal goal throughout the season is to finish this job, return to the United States, and go back to a normal life with Sara and their son, Michael Jr. By the final episode, he manages to achieve this, and it’s implied that his prison escaping days are over.
In the first episode of Season 5, Lincoln is shown a picture of his brother in another prison, making him realize that Michael is not dead and might need his help. His story this season is a reversal, in many ways, of the first season – this time he is the one who must break his brother out of prison. He is aided in his mission by allies both in Yemen and in the US, including Sara, T-Bag, and C-Note.

Where the Rest of the Main Characters End Up
It is revealed in Season 5 that Sara, believing that Michael is dead, has married someone new and is raising her and Michael’s son with him. This new husband, Jacob, is later revealed to be the man behind the Poseidon identity, and along with Lincoln, she is able to bring him to justice and reunite with Michael.
Fernando Sucre, an ally of the brothers from back in Season 1 and part of that season’s prison break, is shown to still be an ally and ready to do whatever is needed to help them. He is still part of the gang that helped Michael and Lincoln stage prison breaks, and even offers to go with Lincoln to Yemen to retrieve Michael.
