The scene just got heated in the wrestling world, and we are certainly not referring to the scripted stuff. Tessa Blanchard has created some real-world tension by SLAPPING Arianna Grace in a recent TNA Wrestling angle. Let’s just say people HAVE THOUGHTS about it. In the clip, released on TNA’s official account, we see Blanchard unleash a harsh slap upon Grace, with utterance of the wrestling community in whispers of horror and outrage.

Let’s talk about the slap. That was no weak, photo-op wrestling slap. That looked really personal. That type of slap that makes you hear the crowd say: “Ohhh, she shouldn’tta did that!” (Shout to James Costa for capturing it perfectly.) The tension between those two had been building, but this has just taken it up about ten notches. Judging by the replies, the public seems split: some are standing for the people fighting for the gimmick, while others are standing up for Arianna.
Karl Ahlf pointed out that Arianna Grace is not somebody you want to mess with: “Tessa, you made a big mistake as @AriannaGraceWWE is trained in MMA, Judo, Jiu Jitsu and Boxing.” Okay, Karl-dropping those combat-sport credentials! Another caller for Tessa’s arrest said the slap was a hate crime. Yikes, we went from zero to sixty real fast.
There’s that chaotic energy from daniel reamer, who responded to the clip by posting a video of himself… punching himself in the face? With the caption, “Yeah well, I punch myself in the face.” Sir, are you okay? That ain’t the flex you think it is. Next one was Banshee, showing serious clapping back to the said user: “Bro I just seen Khabib Nurmagomedov yourself for like 10 seconds straight, you NOT OKAY.” So I have to say, this energy is like witnessing a car crash on slow motion.
Other fans have the fallout on their minds already. User skyes_grace suggested a “stakes” match: “Arianna Grace vs. Tessa Blanchard, if Arianna wins Tessa Blanchard is fired from TNA and every company ever.” Good Lord, that’s harsh. But… kinna iconic? Jersey Devil Ray went onto declare, “We taking it to the streets!! It’s WAR!!!” with a GIF of a mob ready to rumble. These fans are passionate.
And then there’s the whole mystery angle. Several people were poser-wise questioning the identity of the person clad in grey after spotting an unidentified figure in the clip-was it Mila Moore, was it Sonya DeVille? Wrestling loves a sidebar intriguing mystery and now everyone has taken to playing detective.
However, not everyone’s being serious about this. User Mathew went all caps-lock rage screaming, “How dare you Racist dog!” This is a lot. Raymond AndolfoYT, meanwhile, called Arianna Grace “our queen” and said the slap was “unacceptable.” He carries his loyalty heavy.
At the end of the day, wrestling: drama is the game. And that slap felt quite different. Maybe because of how thoroughly it was delivered, maybe it is because of how Arianna sold it, or maybe people are still talking about it some hours later. Either way, TNA had everybody’s attention, and if that’s the kind of heat they’re going to bring, then there is no way we will be missing an episode next week.

So, will Arianna Grace get her revenge? Will Tessa Blanchard double down? Or will daniel reamer continue punching himself in the face for his own entertainment? Time will tell. Wrestling fans may never get bored.
