The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is our guilty pleasure. The group of MomTokers showed fans that there is a whole other life behind the temple doors. One that is complete with fancy soda, swinging, and long-ass hair extensions. I wasn’t sure if I wanted another Mormon show in my life, but I’m so glad Hulu launched this series. However, Season 2 has left viewers on a bit of a cliffhanger. So here is what I need to see from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 2 Part 2; if there is one!
Demi Engemann has to deliver a Swiftie-like performance
This comparison makes total sense to me. The Lover singer is a polarizing popstar with people either jumping on the Swiftie bandwagon or totally despising her. This is most definitely how Demi Engemann comes across.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 2 showed Demi trying to topple the queen bee of the group in hopes of becoming the leader of the hive. But she was thwarted by a very calculating Taylor Frankie Paul. Demi tried her hardest to come out on top and even felt she was deserving of a bigger paycheck.
In a recent interview with The Viall Files, a producer of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives made some bold claims. With the ladies on stage next to him, he shared, “I think the bigger danger that I’ve experienced is when you do a season, and it is received well by the public, and the cast then [thinks] … ‘I am Taylor Swift. And I must have XYZ.”
The speaker then added, “But I always tell cast members, don’t believe your own hype, your own press, because it can all go away in a heartbeat.” I need to see Demi embrace her villain edit and provide evidence.
Vanderpump Villa’s Marciano Brunette needs to be grilled
The last episode of The Secret Lives of Mormons featured Marciano Brunette sipping various herbal teas. But it’s hard to trust the word of a man who is a known liar on his own Hulu series.
I didn’t understand what Marciano had to gain by lying to Layla Taylor. But I also don’t understand why Jessi Ngatikaura would cheat on her husband with the server. The math isn’t mathing. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 2 Part 2 should pick back up with Taylor asking some hard-hitting questions.
I picked Taylor because this woman doesn’t beat around the bush. If you want answers, she is the muscle of the group. Marciano can’t just come in, drop a bomb, and fly back to Las Vegas. He needs the proof. Unless, however, Demi helped plot this entire story. Then I’m going to need to see Mar flipping like an In-N-Out Burger and giving her up as the culprit.
Jen Affleck needs to return for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 2 Part 2
Viewers understand why Jen Affleck needed a mental break. She was going through a lot of turmoil. However, I’m going to need the mother of three to reappear for Part 2. Mostly because her husband, Zac Affleck, is claiming he was tricked into having a child. Honestly, this is such a toxic couple, but I can’t turn my head away from them. Fans first met Zac as the controlling alpha male who wasn’t thrilled that his wife went to Chippendales. And that is putting it lightly.
The pompous aspiring doctor had no bedside manner. But during Season 2, he came back with his tail between his legs in hopes of a reconciliation. However, that mindframe lasted for about two episodes. Zac recently told listeners, “We had one and then a second baby back to back. Jen—like, six months after she gave birth — she got pregnant again with her second baby I got tricked into it.”
Zac explained, “She took out her IUD without telling me.” The pair were headed for a divorce, but somewhere along the line, Jen fell back in love with Zac. However, with a statement like this, I can’t imagine she is too happy with her hubby currently. Part 2 should really outline how the couple is doing, and hopefully, fans get more insight into their fractured relationship.
