Twenty One Pilots Tease Mysterious Future After Final Clancy World Tour Shows

An end of an era is happening here, with Twenty One Pilots forcing fans to confront a series of strange questions in exchange for the answers. Meanwhile, this cryptic leaked message from the duo about their last three shows on the Clancy World Tour is sort of sending… well, pretty much leaving the internet sort of haywire.

The announcement kicked off with views of Tyler Joseph, Josh Dun, and their group reflecting upon the last leg of their Clancy World Tour, to be held in Manchester and London. Not that this was a mere farewell. There was an ominous energy heavily layered in-the atmosphere: chilling instrumental scores playing while Tyler Joseph kept lip-syncing the phrase, “that’s it,” with a hypnotic glaze in his eyes. And did it work? Yes, very much so.

Many fans already caught up on the vibe. A user wrote, “The background score during this segment is from their live show where it perfectly ties into their lore-heavy Breach era.” Another one pointed out that one of the fans in the frame sported a skull makeup to complement the Breach album cover. Coincidence? Not by a long shot.

Then Tyler gave this increasingly ridiculously snotty smirk as he said, “who knows what’s happening after that,” and we’re pretty sure he does know. If the internet wants to buzz about it, then, for sure, something massive is about to hit-theories of a new album, surprise dropping, full lore blast, are floating high, and we’re here for it.

Others just lost their minds. One of them screamed, “I literally threw my phone and screamed at the top of my lungs,” and me, too.” Another said, “You can be so cold,” in reference to how Tyler casually dropped this bomb on everyone emotionally. And then the international fans started shouting for tour dates in their countries-well, one from South Africa who’s been waiting since Vessel.

Now, the real kicker is that the fans are going through every second of this video as if it’s a crime scene. The music, the repetitiveness, the makeup-everyone’s contributing to something. If history has taught us anything about Twenty One Pilots, it’s that it’s never as simple as “that’s it”

The Clancy World Tour may very well be ending; however, somehow, I have the feeling this is just the beginning of whatever crazy, cryptic, and lore-filled ride they will take us on next. Fasten your seatbelts.

And holy hell, shout-out to the fans who said, “I love y’all, but I’m scared.” Mood. Absolute mood.
