With the UFC announcing UFC 317, everyone … well, has something to say about this! The promotion allowed for a pre-sale for Fight Club with the hype building simultaneously, but the comment section in response to the tweets was a real drama. Consider the section as a battleground as bombs of predictions got thrown about alongside tantrums on technical glitches.

As far as fighters go; Oliveira or Do Bronx would obviously be a strong favorite. The voice shouted, “Do Bronx in 3. The champion has a name!” The Naysayers protested at this, in one instance, “How is Oliveira still getting these fights when he has no chance of winning this?” In a much more brutal manner, another cried, “Oliveira will get ko’d so badly it is not even funny.” The debate warmed up so heatedly on whether Oliveira would survive Topuria that two customers actually debated amongst themselves as if they were in the real octagon-One maintained, “Topuria will get destroyed on the floor a 10000000000%,” while the other said, “No he is not taking Topuria down lil bro.” Somebody get a referee for these two.
Then came the logistical complaints: A frustrated fan went,”My presale access code says invalid, and there is no option or link to support. This happened last time.” Time to Tap Out the UFC ticketing system. Others were sharing the hype; “Now these are some badass fights,” and “Might have to go to Vegas for this ngl.” Same.
But, by far, wildest was the calls for tokenized fight night tickets: “Let the fans own the hype too,” one user suggested, which… okay? Not sure how that would work, but hey, crypto bros gonna crypto bro.
UFC 317 is setting itself up as more than just fight night, and loud and proud, the online spectacle is in full swing. Be it Team Oliveira or Team Topuria, one thing is for sure: The internet is not going easy on either one of them, which honestly is half the fun.
