Peacock’s original series Poker Face has returned for a second season, and its episodes are released at a specific time on streaming. Natasha Lyonne leads the Poker Face cast for all episodes, though the TV series is known for its rotating roster of movie star cameos. The first season saw Lyonne paired with actors like Ron Perlman, recent Oscar winner Adrien Brody, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Charles Melton, and more, and these appearances will be some of the most exciting parts of the sophomore run.
Among Peacock’s TV streaming library are shows like Yellowstone and The Office, but Poker Face is one of the platform’s most successful original series. For the time being, it’s exclusive to the platform, and three episodes have already been released as of May 8, 2025. Poker Face Season 2 currently holds an impressive 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes from critics who have seen the opening episodes, suggesting the second season of the Rian Johnson-produced series will continue to be met with critical and fan acclaim.

What To Expect From Poker Face Season 2
Season 2 Has A Star-Studded Roster Of Cameos
Poker Face’s second season will follow much of the same premise as the first, with Natasha Lyonne’s Charlie now on the run from Beatrix Hasp (Rhea Perlman). Poker Face’s season 1 ending saw Charlie decline Hasp’s offer to work for her, setting up a new primary antagonist for the next twelve episodes with Sterling Frost Sr. (Ron Perlman) out of the way. Of course, it wouldn’t be Poker Face if Charlie wasn’t meeting some quirky characters played by celebrities along the way.
Poker Face’s season 2 cameos include movie stars, comedians, and more. Cynthia Erivo (Wicked) plays a prominent role in the season 2 premiere. Other cameos include John Mulaney (The Bear), Awkwafina (Crazy Rich Asians), Justin Theroux (The Leftovers), BJ Novak (The Office), David Krumholtz (Oppenheimer), and many more. Poker Face season 2 has plenty to look forward to for those in it for the overarching narrative or for those who just want to see movie stars enjoying themselves on TV.
