Lala Kent and Kristen Doute are at odds. Now that Lala is starring (somewhat) beside Kristen on The Valley, their friendship remains a work in progress, according to Kristen.
For years, Lala and Kristen maintained a roller-coaster-styled friendship on Vanderpump Rules. When this series wrapped, they seemed to be in a solid place. So, what happened? And where do these two fighters now stand?
Kristen Doute’s pregnancy has her forgetting Lala Kent drama
In November 2023, Kristen appeared at a podcast taping with Golnesa “GG” Gharachedagh. Like Kristen, GG used to be tight with Lala (but these two might be tight again soon). However, in this taping, GG made it known that she was (then) not on good terms with Lala. Cue an uncomfortable Kristen, choosing silence instead of a word of support for her co-star.
Recently appearing on the Housewives Nightcap podcast, Kristen has since found her voice. She is “at peace right now.” Therefore, she no longer needs “bad blood with Lala because “bad blood” is not “necessary,” she noted
However, This is not to say that Lala and Kristen do “not have a lot to work out, because there are” many things still brewing here that Kristen remains unhappy about. Likewise, Kristen acknowledges that Lala likely feels the same.
Nevertheless, Kristen is heavily pregnant with her first child, so she needs support from “other moms out there,” including Lala. Pregnancy has changed her perspective on what matters. So “the small stuff doesn’t bother” her right now, Kristen stressed.
This mindset Kristen now carries tracks. Before this pregnancy, Kristen experienced a miscarriage. All that she has ever wanted is to be a mother, so this tragic event knocked her off her feet. Now pregnant again, Kristen is in her peace era.
