Kristen Doute is the next star of The Valley to enter a new phase of life by becoming a parent. The Vanderpump Rules alum has come a long way from her SUR days and is expecting to deliver a baby girl in a matter of weeks with her fiancé, Luke Broderick. Brittany Cartwright recently threw Kristen an extravagant baby shower filled with Valley and Pump Rules stars. Jesse Lally and Zack Wickham were in attendance, which makes sense considering they’re both pretty #TeamKristen on the show. Nia Sanchez also snagged an invite. However, after Kristen posted on Instagram, fans were quick to notice one star was noticeably absent from the celebration — Scheana Shay.
Scheana Shay’s work commitments took priority over Kristen Doute’s baby shower
Kristen’s photo from the event featured other OG VPR cast members like Ariana Madix and Tom Schwartz. However, Scheana was absent, and Kristen’s comment section was quick to notice. However, Scheana’s mom, Erika van Olphen, quickly jumped into the conversation to clear Scheana’s name. Because we always have to remember, why isn’t anyone ever thinking about Scheana in all of this?
Erika wrote in response to one fan comment, “Scheana was at Stagecoach and her and Kristen are great so don’t try to stir the pot. When you have a work obligation, it takes priority. Mind your business.” Mama bear to the rescue. Katie Maloney also commented that she was sad to miss Kristen’s shower, so it’s clear there isn’t bad blood between them these days either.
