Amal and George Clooney were all smiles as they recently enjoyed a double date with Bono and his wife, Ali Hewson, in New York City, reported Page Six. The group appeared in good spirits as they were photographed while leaving the Polo Bar in Midtown. Although they were all dressed stylishly for the outing, Amal’s gorgeous summer dress undoubtedly stole the spotlight.
The 47-year-old lawyer looked stunning in a delicate print maxi dress from Stella McCartney. The strapless piece is made from layers of stretch-mesh patterned with cherries and leaves. The layering even creates a dimensional, shadow-like effect throughout. The form-hugging dress includes gentle ruched detailing along the sides. Besides the chic dress, Amal wore a pair of metallic pointed-toe heels and carried a matching clutch.
The activist rounded off her date night look with a pair of dangly earrings and wore her long hair down in her signature style. On the other hand, her husband looked dapper in a navy suit, which he wore above a black T-shirt. The 64-year-old actor and filmmaker coordinated the look with a pair of black formal shoes. George even threw in a casual touch with his baseball cap.
