Law enforcement are responding to reports of multiple Baldwin Park police officers shot Saturday evening.
Multiple law enforcement agencies were helping respond to the incident in Baldwin Park located near 4200 Filhurst Ave., said California Highway Patrol spokesperson Megan Curtiss.
Curtiss said it was unclear at this point how many officers were involved. One person had been taken into custody, she said. A suspect had barricaded themselves at the scene, according to ABC7.
Two officers had been hit with gunshots and transported to USC Medical Center — one by air and one by ground, according to the L.A. County Fire Department. The officers were both in serious condition, a source told The Times.
