After making his brutal return to the small screen as Frank Castle aka The Punisher in Daredevil: Born Again, Jon Bernthal is about to make a leap into the MCU’s big screen offerings as he is bringing the violent vigilante to one of the most-anticipated movies on the MCU’s slate.
It looks like as well as having a role to play in Born Again Season 2, and getting his own Disney+ special, Bernthal’s Punisher will also be rubbing shoulders with New York’s famous webslinger in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day. There doesn’t seem to be much information about the size of the role Bernthal will play in the movie, but it is unlikely we will see him going full-Punisher in what will surely be a PG-13 movie. Instead it is more likely that Holland’s Peter Parker could end up crossing paths with Castle in a similar way to how he met Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
