Jax Taylor is reaping what he sows. For years The Valley star has been a “bad boy.” Now it’s started to impact his work and his mental health. The backlash of his bad behavior has backed him into a corner. So he’s decided to quit social media to prioritize his “mental health and recovery.”
While this is usually what one does when being cancelled, it’s a good thing Jax is going to get some space to get it together. His toxicity in Season 2 was next level. It even got to a point where fans even questioned if he had been fired from The Valley.
While it was confirmed that he wasn’t fired from The Valley, Jax did appear a lot less. It was because the Jax’s Studio City owner decided to check himself into a rehabilitation center after a really bad fight with Brittany Cartwright.
And between the fights, cocaine problems, and potential bugging of their home, it looks like Jax’s roosters have all come home to roost. Backlash from his bad behavior has spread far and wide. And it’s forced him to take a social media break to help him focus on his healing.
That’s honestly a great idea. Social media is already toxic in general. To be on it when going through a challenging time and trying to get better is just going to make things even worse.
And social media hate isn’t the only thing Jax has had to deal with. Thanks to the backlash of his bad behavior he has had to cancel his podcast tour.
Jax was originally scheduled to travel across the United States to do live edition shows of his podcast, In the Mind of the Man. He had 12 dates planned but venues began pulling out after seeing Jax’s behavior in Season 2 of The Valley.
Between rehabilitation and getting off social media, hopefully Jax can find the space to get it together. Sometimes it takes hitting rock bottom to realize that there’s nowhere to go but up. Unfortunately, knowing Jax he might just find a new low. Here’s hoping that isn’t the case this time.
