Who doesn’t love a good crossover? We’re always down for reality TV worlds colliding and now we’re getting Lisa Vanderpump and Gordon Ramsay’s take on the viral audio from Love Island USA. And it’s just as hilarious as you imagine.
Lisa and Gordon are no strangers to reality TV and no strangers to collaborating. The two work together on (or compete with one another) on Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars and they have great chemistry.
Lisa Vanderpump and Gordon Ramsay take on a viral Love Island USA soundbite
Now, they’re showing us again why we love to see them share the screen together. The two laughingly took on the viral “I’m a Mommy” audio from Love Island USA with Lisa in the role of Huda Mustafa and Gordon doing his best Nic Vansteenberghe.
In case you missed it, the moment was from when Huda was telling Nic that she’s a mom and has a daughter. Nic hilariously misunderstood her meaning and went from asking if she meant “mamacita” to asking if she was a dog mom. He eventually realized she meant mom to a “human child.”
The audio from that hilariously awkward exchange went viral online and birthed several memes and videos including some made by celebrities like comedian Matt Rogers, Wicked actor Bowen Yang, and Riverdale’s Lili Reinhart. Each is getting funnier than the last and Lisa and Gordon could barely keep their laughter at bay.
Gordon posted the video with the caption, “Two new bombshells enter the (Caesar’s Palace) Villa.”
“I’m a mommy,” Lisa mouthed in the video to which Gordon asked, “Mommy?”
“I’m a mom,” she said again. “Mamacita,” Gordon mouthed and then he couldn’t help but burst out laughing.
Lisa ended the video saying, “No, I’m a mommy,” with her adorable pomeranian Donut on her lap. She actually does love her fur babies like she would her own “human child” as Huda said.
It was utter perfection and the fans thought so too, leaving heaps of laughter emojis and positive reactions in the comments. I’m always down for fun crossovers. And this is ranking right up there with Sarah Paulson’s rendition of Heather Gay’s “timelines, receipts” speech.
Gordon Ramsey’s Food Stars is available to stream on Hulu, Disney+, and Fox.
TELL US – DID YOU ENJOY GORDON AND LISA’S VIDEO? DO YOU THINK HUDA THOUGHT THIS WOULD BECOME SO POPULAR?
