Twenty One Pilots Tease New Music With Cryptic Post About Sleepless Nights

Twenty One Pilots has just dropped another mysterious hint and their next chapter has now sent Twitter into a full meltdown. “I don’t sleep much,” the duo posted alongside the message “thats crazy, how’d you know that?” The grainy footage showed some flickering lights that fans have been speculating might have a hidden set of clues to new music.

The video has a description that reads, “Still No Happiness to be Taya,” and that really caused speculators to hit the ground running. Some see a connection to all the previous videos with lyrics, while others think it is an anagram or a cipher. The band has been building a great deal of anticipation for what is next with all of its cryptic clues; give this last serving, and the speculation has gone into overdrive.

All in response said, “Trying to push the bounds of what a mind can do,” while they tried really hard to decode the message, to which another will say, “just drop the song little bro,” obviously tired of the wait for new music. Then the conversation was brought amongst international fans, with a Brazilian fan noting, “Why would you sleep when Clancy is on your mind?” (Clancy is a recurring figure in the band’s lore).

German fans were certainly hyped, translating the excitement: “I’m so nervous! Everything sounds so cool so far.” Of course, the Morse code theorists sprang to life, with multiple users analyzing the flickering lights frame by frame. “It’s more than likely Morse code! Tyler’s been sneaking it in for most of the Breach hype,” ventured with an observant Cahier.

Amazingly, not everyone was in agreement for that 6 AM post. “Well, some of us do sleep. No reason to be doing all this at 6 AM,” said one. Others took offense by a comment that read, “So the first most relatable post from you huh,” while another said, “You’re mocking us! Depression isn’t a joke.”

Rather than a typical marketing buildup, the cryptic buildup is slowly becoming an art form, with alternate-day theories flowing in thousands. Some say the flickering lights will unveil tour dates or album info, while some say it is when they will announce a date for their next single. The fever pitch of anticipation is perfectly summarized by a fan, who states, “One day closer. So exciting. I just can’t wait.”

There has always been a blurred line between their music and interactive storytelling, and it looks like this installment will be no different. Are these posts the hints of a new single, an album, or yet another multimedia experience? But one thing is guaranteed – at least until another clue drops, nobody will be getting much sleep.
