Vicki Gunvalson Celebrates Bravo’s Andy Cohen With Nostalgic Birthday Shoutout

The original queen of Real Housewives of Orange County, or maybe should I just say dye-hard throwback vibes, forgive the underused words, for Andy Cohen’s birthday tribute. The Original OC had to roll out this nice little Instagram ode to Andy’s birthday while sending out sobering reminders that buying anyone else else’s blueprint is a bad idea. She wrote, “I don’t want you (or me) to get old but I do want to celebrate another year of life for you!! Let’s continue to Whoop it Up @bravoandy.” And she dropped the catchphrase for good measure.

Nostalgia kicked in immediately for those who are still sick about Vicki’s departure from RHOC. One fan straight-up kept track of, “The rhoc needs the og back!❤️🍊,” while another went on, almost more: “I stopped watching when she left!!! Made me so sad she was just a thrill to watch with many laughs.. I just love her!❤️.” That was indeed some kind of painful lag.

The thing is-the fans actually wanna go back to the franchise: They want a spin-off for her. “I don’t want her on RHOC! We want her to have her own show!” read a very informative comment that threw in an argument for a spin-off about her business hustle and real life. Then Vicki responded, “It would be a HIT show … I’m working on it.” Did she just practically confirm a series? Cue dramatic gasp from reality television.

Or consider statements with which some fans wanted to remind Andy Cohen and Bravo of exactly what they are missing. “THE ONE WHO WAS THERE FROM THE BEGINNING! THE ULTIMATE OG…VICKI!” yelled one of the fans. “The two people who invented Bravo👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽.” Facts. Wouldn’t you agree? Without Vicki early on really going hard, remember the “Whoop It Up” van rides?—the Housewives world might have grown up a bit more calm (read: boring).

Even the Mexico references came around with a classic quarantine version: “We’re going to Mexico!! I say this before every vacation, no matter where I’m actually going!” Classics.

And the real question that looms over this whole business with much suspense? Why is Vicki still not on TV? One fan almost hits the stand: “All andy wants for his bday is you back on RHOC.” Honestly… wouldn’t that be some kind of ultimate present?

For now, the playful phase exists; Vicki snarked Andy over his birthday, as though to say, ever remember? The OG that built the house—literally. Whether she is plotting her return, racing toward a new show, or both, one thing is clear: the people want more of Vicki. And if Bravo is smart, they will listen.

Happy Birthday, Andy. Also, #GiveVickiHerOrangeBack. Just saying.
