Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is taking a page out of Superman‘s playbook, according to DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn. The upcoming DCU film will be the second live-action film to hit theaters set in the rebooted DC Universe, and recently wrapped principal photography.
During an interview with Rolling Stone, James Gunn confirmed that Supergirl is dropping the Woman of Tomorrow subtitle. “I think it’s just called Supergirl,” Gunn confirmed. Hailing from Craig Gillespie (Cruella), Supergirl features House of the Dragon star Milly Alcock in the title role and is directly based on the Woman of Tomorrow comic run by Tom King.
More to come.
