Divorce is never easy for anyone. And Ariana Biermann of Next Gen NYC continues to prove that as she shares the way Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s ongoing divorce continues to impact her and her family.
The Next Gen NYC cast member has talked about a lot of things during the show including her parents’ persistent financial troubles, her evolving relationship with her mom, and her hopes for her upcoming fashion line with her boyfriend Hudson McLeroy. Still, despite being really open about all aspects of her life, the second gen star is almost always asked about her parents ongoing split.

Ariana has never kept mum about the divorce and what she thinks of it. It’s never easy watching a relationship fall apart. And when it’s as tumultuous as Kroy and Kim’s split has been, that makes it even harder. Plus, it’s on-again off-again, so now one really knows what to expect.
Still Ariana admits that she struggles with remaining neutral as her parents’ contentious divorce continues. She spoke to PEOPLE and shared that in the two years since Kim and Kroy decided to call it quits, she has often felt “caught in the middle” of their battles.
“I’m trying to find my way still in the middle of it without disrespecting anybody or making anybody upset,” she shared. “But I think it gets hard at times. And unintentionally, you can be going more towards one side than the other when they are fighting the kind of battles my parents are going through right now.”
For the most part, Ariana tries to keep her relationships with her parents separate. She does her best not let one impact the other. It’s not always easy though.
“I think it sucks for anybody experiencing their parents going through a divorce,” Ariana added. “I love my parents’ love. And I know people have a lot of opinions about it, but it was really such a pure, honest love. They acted like they fell in love yesterday up until, of course, the end. I think it’s just really sad overall. It’s been a tough couple of years.”
