Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 will feature another fan-favorite vigilante alongside the titular character. Ever since it was confirmed that Krysten Ritter would reprise her role as Jessica Jones alongside Defenders alum Charlie Cox, fans have been anxious to learn more about the long-awaited return. It seems her MCU debut will be as exciting as promised, while still feeling familiar to those who love the tone of the Netflix Marvel era.
During an interview with ScreenRant, Krysten Ritter was asked about her role in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. Not only did she confirm that she will indeed put on Jessica Jones’ signature boots again, but that fans of the Netflix shows will feel at home with the “gritty” second season.
Krysten Ritter: “It’s very exciting. I am very thrilled to be back in Jessica’s boots. There’s more story for her and it’s really exciting.”
ScreenRant: “How does the tone feel? Disney+ versus Netflix?”
Krysten Ritter: “Oh, it’s gritty. It feels big too. The crew’s amazing. I’ve had an amazing experience. I can’t say anything, but I love being with Charlie [Cox]. It was as if no time had passed. Like, my first day, I was looking around like we’re back. But juxtaposing it with Mia [her Dexter Resurrection character] and Jessica has been really creatively fulfilling for me as an artist and just what a big, big banner year I’m having. I think the fans are going to be very, very thrilled. We’re doing some cool stuff.”
