Haley Kalil has been spitting dope on the skies, and talks are going everywhere. The model and social media star said that she would share with Snoop Dogg a one-day-only billboard in Times Square to celebrate National Chicken Finger Day on July 27th. There was a cute little teaser from Haley, joking about her tiny little spot next to a huge space dedicated to Snoop. But one of the commentators said, lyrics-wise, “A win is a win.” The real funny video was a A day in the life anticipation of Haley in Times Square; she was going crazy at seeing a face in lights-faint thanks to her glory with Snoop.” Definitely on it…I think…,” the caption said, following the joke all the way. That day, Snoop was to drop a new album that makes Birds of a Feather with Raising Cane’s, the fast-food chain that sponsors the holiday. The whole story is that the owner of Raising Cane’s, Todd Graves, was the originator of National Chicken Finger Day; so having Snoop, could only mean mighty promos.

Reactions to the post ranged from excitement to teasing, to outright confusion. Consoling herself with the laughter, one user said she only realized who Snoop was when Haley’s pixelated look stole the show; a second one said, “Haley’s the real deal, so I’m throwing a party for her!” For which somebody replied, “Are cans and gallons of cane sauce included?” (And if you blocked that off from your mind: yes.) Then there was a completely random comment-on the same post-asking for advice after having found “3 hard socks” under her kid’s bed. The internet, I tell ya.
But not even for a moment was everybody in favor of that hype. In fact, one said they could never take her seriously but loved her anyway. Another one got sentimental, sharing that sometimes they feel Haley is “still with us,” which… is quite a vibe. And then one fan just discovered their dad’s birthday is on National Chicken Finger Day, which really is probably the best birthday present ever, if you think about it.
The post got nostalgic for one follower, who begged for more of Haley’s iconic lightning videos. She teased back, “Waiting for rain so I know what the fans want.” One person felt inspired at that moment to shame Haley for giving them the craving for chicken at 2 a.m.
