Jeremy Simon was one of the first arrivals on the beach of Bachelor in Paradise Season 10. After placing fourth on Jenn Tran’s season of The Bachelorette, Jeremy arrived in Paradise ready to find love. While Jeremy was a fan-favorite on The Bachelorette, he’s received a more villainous edit on BIP. So far, Jeremy seems to be the main villain of BIP Season 10.
Jeremy Simon expressed doubt about Bailey Brown after she gave him her first rose
During the first week of Paradise, the women had the roses. This left ten men vying for roses from only six women. One of the most popular women on the beach was Bailey Brown, who participated in Grant Ellis’ season of The Bachelor. Bailey caught the attention of several suitors, including Jeremy. The two had an instant connection, with both physical and emotional chemistry.
At the rose ceremony, Bailey chose to give her rose to Jeremy over the other men who had pursued her. After receiving the rose, Jeremy was relieved. At first, it appeared that this was due to the confirmation that Bailey felt the same as him. However, later on during a confessional, Jeremy admitted that he was looking forward to seeing which new women would arrive next week. He emphasized that he was very open to new connections, without acknowledging Bailey at all.
While it’s normal to explore new connections in the first weeks of Paradise, the way Jeremy went about it was wrong. As soon as he had a rose from Bailey, his entire persona changed. Once he knew that he had the power of the rose, he stopped acting so into Bailey. This shows that Jeremy is a rose chaser, which is never a good thing to be on BIP.
Jeremy chased Susie Evans without taking Bailey’s feelings into account

When a group of new women arrived in Paradise, Jeremy quickly took a liking to Susie Evans. After chatting, Susie asked Jeremy to go on a date, and he accepted. While Bailey wasn’t thrilled about this, she was understanding and embraced Jeremy going on the date. During the date, Jeremy and Susie had a great time and even ended things with a kiss.
At the rose ceremony, however, Jeremy decided to give his rose to Bailey to keep pursuing things with her. During the cocktail party, Bailey told Jeremy that she was set on him, and this seemed to influence his decision. After rejecting Justin Glaze’s rose, Susie left the resort.
While everyone has the right to explore connections in Paradise, the way Jeremy went about it was odd. Up until the rose ceremony, it seemed certain that Jeremy would offer his rose to Susie. He kept emphasizing that he had been waiting to meet her and it seemed like he was entirely enamored by her. It’s usually easy to predict who someone’s rose will go to, but in this case, it wasn’t.
Jeremy became angry with Bailey after she accepted a date with Andrew Spencer

The following week, the roses were once again in the hands of the women. This meant that a group of new men would arrive, with one of them being Andrew Spencer. After chatting with Bailey, Andrew asked her on a date, and she accepted. When Bailey went to let Jeremy know about this, however, he quickly became furious.
Jeremy felt betrayed by Bailey going on a date with someone else, despite him doing the same thing the day before. During a confessional, Jeremy explained that he had chosen Bailey because she told him she was all in on him. When Bailey decided to go on the date with Andrew, Jeremy asked to call Susie. While he did get in contact with her, Susie admitted that she didn’t plan to come back.
Jeremy’s behavior was hypocritical, as he acted as if it was ok for him to explore connections while it wasn’t alright for Bailey to do the same. After Bailey came back and still chose Jeremy over Andrew, he also failed to tell her about his phone call to Susie. Based on all of his actions so far, Jeremy has earned the title of BIP Season 10 villain.
Bachelor in Paradise is available to stream on Hulu.
