With Jesse McCartney acting the way he sometimes seems to flex on Instagram, this hype has been purposefully built. The “Beautiful Soul” singer posted a clip of himself having fun in the studio with the caption, “I like to sing on the side. 😎” Yes, Jesse. We know. The guy’s voice is one of the smoothest ever in pop.

In the clip, McCartney gives forth a soulful melody, dyeing the notes with his porous voice without seeming to exert even an atom of effort. The utterance goes: “You can ask the flowers, ask it for hours, telling all the blue birds, the building cool birds.” Honestly, as the clip unfolds, it has us feeling early 2000s nostalgia paired with that questioning: “Why is this man not headlining more tours?”
In no time at all came the comments: “The voice of an angel!! 🥰” while another cracked, “You sing? I thought you just did Judge Judy lipsyncs.” The latter kicked off the hype, with responses such as “Heather stop omg” showing that McCartney’s fanbase is quite calm yet witty.
On another note, one person simply could not wait: “See you in 99 days in Charleston! 😍” Looks like McCartney’s next tour is making waves already, and if this clip is any indication, he is definitely in voice-rehearsal mode.
Fans have gone as far as asking for new music: “So like can we get an album of covers? Or ya know a Christmas album?” sparked a thread for dream setlists, including a live holiday concert. Then another exclaimed: “Vocal King! Those runs are so smooth 🔥🔥🔥” And honestly? No lies detected.
Now, those are some good mantras for throwbacks: “I just wanna know how many people owned the Dreamstreet album” dragged everyone back into those boy-band days.
