Jimmy Fallon and Rachel Brosnahan gave an almost unexpected treat to Superman fans. The host of The Tonight Show and the Emmy award-winning actress created a strange yet funny sketch together with Krypto, the famous dog of Superman. That, however, was just an utterly weirdly Krypto-style version.

The clip starts with Jimmy explaining to Rachel how he hardly can whistle, and she just casually goes “whistle” with all the ease in the world. The real star of the show was the white dog with a confused expression, really not CGI, just sitting there looking at Jimmy as if thunder would soon fall from the sky. Jimmy then says very dramatically, “Take us home, Krypto,” and the dog just stares blankly in one direction. The utter absurdity of that just wreaked havoc on the Internet, and the online reactions were confused yet amused.
One viewer jokingly remarked, “The dog was the true star of the show.” Another commented, “That’s the Krypto from Temu.” And the absurdity did not stop there. Other viewers kept appearing baffled, as the pooch looked more like some sort of sheep instead of a cute doggie sidekick. “So Krypto is a sheep now?” read one comment, followed by another user who said, “When you order your Krypto from the Wish App.”
The funny commentaries went world-wide: A Spanish-speaking fan hilariously quipped “What a bad edit, dude,” while another simply stated “Krypto doesn’t respond to Jimmy’s whistle!” (for the second time, just to emphasize how funny it was).
Beyond the jokes, the clip instilled a sentimental feeling within the community. “Oh gosh! I love it! Makes me miss mine so much!” read one emotional comment, with others agreeing this will soon cause white dog adoptions to soar. “I foresee an influx of white dogs in every neighborhood,” stated one user, followed by another that said, “People would start adopting white dogs soon.”
And with her effortless charm and charisma came another level of magic: Rachel Brosnahan will soon be playing Lois Lane in the Superman movie. One fan said, “She is so beautiful and adorable at the same time.” The dog might have taken the spotlight, but Jimmy’s comedic timing made sure that bit went on with or without cooperation from Krypto.
Well, if you want to be really famous, some wild speculation needs to pop up here. One user cried, “2025 Right now make the Monkey Prince Movie, I don’t have much time left,” while another said, “Jimmy Fallon as a Jimmy Olsen variant would be funny.” That was true menace amusant.
Intentional or not, the insane segment summed up the internet’s love for bizarre and hilarious moments. And if nothing else, it has been proven that Krypto, in whatever state, shall remain a legend. Even if that means a goofy sheepdog staring at Jimmy Fallon as though he has lost all hope.
So, yes, Superman’s super-dog may not have had superpowers on this one, but sure he has some super-meme potential. Great job, Fallon. Someone should really get this dog an agent.
